LOOK: Liza Soberano gets welcome home surprise from Enrique Gil, loved ones after surgery in US
Liza Soberano was given a warm welcome by her boyfriend, Enrique Gil, and her loved ones after arriving from the United States on Monday, July 22.
The actress was in the US for three months to receive treatment for her finger injury. Her right index finger required multiple operations, and complications such as a bone infection lengthened her stay abroad.
Finally, Soberano is home, and her family and friends made sure she felt how much they missed her with decor of gold and pink balloons and streamers. Petals and rustic lamps covered the floor in the entrance. The pictures show too that Soberano now has a black brace for her finger.
In another picture, loved ones are seen holding up a streamer in pink letters that say, “Welcome home Hopie.”
She also posed with a bouquet of sunflowers along with Gil in the middle of the beautiful setup made for her.
While she was in California, Gil bridged their long-distance relationship by visiting her and accompanying her to tourist sites.
