Sunshine Cruz turned 42 on Thursday, July 18, with love from her three kids and boyfriend Macky Mathay.
Mathay said in his heartfelt Instagram post that he did not think he would meet someone like her. “Maling mali yung inakala ko (I was so wrong) because God made you happen, I will never forget that day, the rest is history.”
“You inspire me to be the best man that I can ever be, never for myself but for us and the kids. Everything in my life has more meaning because of you.”

Her three kids, Angelina, Sam and Chesca, each posted pictures of them with their mom, along with pictures from their childhood.
“To the woman I look up to the most and whom i can consider my best friend, Happy Birthday! I love you always,” said Angelina, who chose to share an old picture of her and her mom on a plane.

Samantha shared a picture of them in bikinis at the beach and one of Cruz carrying her as a baby. “Happy birthday to my biggest inspiration, so glad that I was lucky enough to have you as my mom, I love you!”

Chesca got sentimental about how much Cruz has sacrificed for them.

“It’s unachievable to ever do as much as you’ve done for me and it’s impossible to ever thank you enough,” she wrote in her post. “Happy birthday to this ageless goddess.”
Cruz spent the day at work, shooting for her TV series “Love Thy Woman.” She shared in her Instagram Stories that Mathay sent lechon on the set as a treat to her and the cast. /ra
