Dimples Romana celebrates 16th wedding anniversary

Actress Dimples Romana marked her 16th year of marriage to her husband, Boyet Ahmee, with a sweet throwback to the heyday of their youth.
“Bago pa lang tayo nito (we were still new here). I would’ve been 17 years old. It was a love brought about by terrible heartaches that you patiently healed me from,” Romana said via Instagram on June 13. “Sa simula pa lang, Ikaw na ang taga-hilom, taga-ayos ko (you’ve always been my healer, my fixer, since the beginning).”
In the photo, Romana and Ahmee can be seen smiling wide for the camera as she donned what appears to be Ahmee’s leather jacket around her shoulders.

“Salamat mahal. Ang dami na nating pinagdaanan at pagdadaanan pa. Hinding hindi ako bibitiw, araw araw kitang pipiliin,” said Romana. “At kung paminsan hindi ako sumasapat sa inaasahan mo sa akin, kumapit ka lang ha. Susubukan kong maging lahat ng kakailanganin mong maging ako.”

Romana has credited their strong marriage to their steadfast faith in God, Whom she called the “third party” in their relationship during their 15th wedding anniversary last year. She also lauded Ahmee for his selflessness and for making each moment count.
“The best ka. Hindi mo sinayang ang oras ko,” Romana said then. “You have made all our dreams come to life dahil hindi ka madamot.”
