Rihanna is world’s richest female musician, says Forbes
MANILA, Philippines — Rihanna surely knows what it means to “work, work, work, work, work” as the lyrics from her 2016 hit suggests.
In a profile released by Forbes on Wednesday, Rihanna was named as the richest female musician worldwide with $600 million fortune.
Trailing behind Rihanna are Madonna with $570 million, Celine Dion with $450 million and Beyoncé with $400 million.
Most of Rihanna’s fortune, Forbes said, comes from her partnership with French multinational luxury goods conglomerate LVMH in their co-owned cosmetics line Fenty Beauty.
Fenty Beauty, launched in September 2017, racked up an estimated $100 million in sales in its first few weeks, Forbes reported.
The brand also sets itself apart from others by offering a wide range of foundation options with 40 shades.
