LOOK: Anne Curtis, Marco Gumabao wrap up filming of new movie

Anne Curtis finished filming a new project where she stars alongside Marco Gumabao, as per her Instagram post yesterday, May 29.

No details about the release date were revealed, but the actress pointed out that they wrapped up filming in the “wee hours” of the morning in Pampanga. The upcoming movie, “Just a Stranger,” is directed by Jason Paul Laxamana and is the actress’ first film for the year.

“Excited for all of you to meet my character Mae. She made me go back to my core and how I’ve missed that,” Curtis said about her role in the film.

She also reminded her followers on Instagram to keep an eye on Gumabao since it is “definitely the first time to see him like this on the big screen.”

“Keep an eye out for it in cinemas this year,” Curtis added. “It will give you all sorts of mixed feelings. I promise.”

“Just a Stranger” is director Laxamana’s third project for this year, after “Between Maybes” and “Ang Henerasyong Sumuko sa Love.” This is also the second film Curtis and Gumabao have worked on together; their first project together was “Aurora” by director Yam Laranas.

The film’s plot centers on  Mae (played by Curtis) and Jekjek (portrayed by Gumabao).  /ra
