Kim Go-eun joins Lee Min-ho in upcoming drama
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Kim Go-eun has joined actor Lee Min-ho in upcoming drama series tentatively titled “The King: The Eternal Monarch.”

Korean drama production company Hwa & Dam Pictures announced Monday that Kim has been cast as the drama’s female lead.

According to Hwa & Dam Pictures, “The King: The Eternal Monarch” will tackle the subject of “parallel worlds.”

Article continues after this advertisementThis will be Kim’s second time to work with screenwriter Kim Eun-sook who also wrote the hit drama “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” also known as “Goblin,” which aired from 2016 to 2017.
“The King: The Eternal Monarch” will reportedly air in the first half of 2020 and will be directed by Baek Sang-hoon, the co-director of “Descendants of the Sun” and “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds.”
Kim also starred in 2016 drama “Cheese in the Trap” alongside Seo Kang-jun, Lee Sung-kyung and Park Hae-jin. (Editor: Cenon B. Bibe Jr.)
