Jessy Mendiola pens bday message for Luis: ‘I prayed to God for you’

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Jessy Mendiola penned a sweet birthday message for her boyfriend actor-host Luis Manzano as he turned 38 on Sunday.
Accompanied with a series of throwback pictures, Mendiola got candid with her feelings for Manzano in an Instagram post.

“Happy birthday my love! I prayed to God for you. I asked Him to guide me and help me meet a man who would take care and value me, then He gave me you,” Mendiola wrote.
Mendiola also mentioned all the things her longtime boyfriend has taught her and made her feel.
“You healed me in so many ways and gave me love when I thought I could never fall in love again. You taught me to be happy even when I’m constantly judged and misunderstood. You loved me even in my darkest days,” she said.
“You are a blessing to me and I will forever cherish what God has given us. Thank you for making me feel secure and loved every single day. I love you with all my heart,” she added.
Mendiola and Manzano have been together for almost three years already. /jpv
