Sharon Cuneta praised by Fil-Am actor Reggie Lee for professionalism in delayed US concert
Sharon Cuneta’s professionalism shone through in her Los Angeles concert last March 30, earning her praise from Fil-Am actor Reggie Lee.
Lee posted a picture of him and the Megastar locked in an embrace last Tuesday, April 2, and told fans about her stellar performance despite hours of delay in the last leg of her United States and Canada concert tour.

Cuneta was flying in from her Toronto show on March 30 when the trip was delayed due to engine issues on the plane, as per her Instagram post on the same day.

Fans ended up waiting for hours until she could show up, and Cuneta delivered her best despite the stress and a lack of sleep.

Article continues after this advertisement“She did a concert in Toronto the night before and after a more than 10-hour flight delay this morning, no sleep the night before, and a several-hour delay of her show due to the flight delay, stepped onstage at the Alex Theatre directly from the airport a little later than 10 p.m. with nothing but a sense of humor, a glorious voice, and a whole lotta love for her fans,” he narrated.
“It’s no wonder the entire crowd stayed through a 4-hour delay in the show,” Lee added. “She is so loved and she gives it right back.”
Cuneta’s daughter KC Concepcion shared the love back for Lee in a picture of them which she posted on Instagram on Saturday, April 6.

“So happy to FINALLY meet you in person,” she said of Lee’s backstage visit.
She listed some of his work, which ranges from TV shows like “Prison Break” and “Grimm” to Hollywood blockbusters “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “The Dark Knight Rises”.
“Pinoy yan. Ang galing talaga,” she said. (He’s Filipino. Really brilliant.)
Cuneta linked with Lee in 2017 during her U.S. concert tour. She said in a 2017 Facebook post that she tweeted him after remembering years ago that he referred to Christopher de Leon and her as his favorite Filipino actors.
She treated him and his parents to her concert and since then, they have called each other their BFFs. JB
