Now, he finally enjoyed the fruits of his labor as he walked along with other graduates at the commencement ceremony held at the Philippine International Convention Center on Thursday, as seen in Valerio’s Instagram post.

“4 years na walang tulog sa pagbabalance ng work and school, and today I finally walked across that stage,” Valerio said. “Wala man tulog, aakyat at tatanggap pa din ng award and diploma.”

(Four years of lack of sleep for balancing work and school, and today I finally walked across that stage. I may not have enough sleep, I will still get up and accept that award and diploma.)

Valerio also told his departed mother that he hopes he made her proud. ” I hope you’re happy, proud, and clapping the day away there in Heaven. I love you, Ma,” he added.

He is known to be part of GMA teleseryes such as “Joaquin Bordado,” “The Cure” and “Inagaw na Bituin.”  /ra
