Angelica Panganiban bemoans unsatisfactory experience with airline: ‘Sana nag bus na lang ako’

Angelica Panganiban had quite a day on Thursday, as she bemoaned her unsatisfactory experience with an unnamed airline.
The “Playhouse” actress first shared in a series of Twitter posts that she missed her flight, and even joked: “work hard pa more! (Work harder!)”

Her experience with disaster did not end from there. Panganiban was able to secure another flight booking. However, she was met with great distress for a funny reason—she was seated next to a couple who could not stop kissing each other.

It also appeared that her flight was delayed due to air traffic. And since her seatmates could not take their hands off each other, Panganiban wrote: “Damang dama ko na po ang pagiging single sa nangyayaring halikan sa tabi ko (I now validate the feeling of being single because of the couple kissing beside me).”
“Utang na loob!!” the actress pleaded. “Paliparin niyo na ang eroplano!” (Please! Fly this plane already!)

Panganiban then aired her frustration that the airline was fine to leave behind passengers, but when it comes to delayed flights, passengers were not accommodated to their needs, such as her request to have some water. “Kapag nag reklamo kami, kami pa ang masama at paguusapan (When we complain, we still look like the bad guys in the end),” she said.
Kung makapang iwan kayo ng pasahero… tawang tawa pa kayo. pero pag kayo ang hindi on time… kahit libreng tubig hindi niyo kami mabigyan. Kapag nag reklamo kami, kami pa ang masama at paguusapan. Hanep

She even wished that she rode a bus instead of the plane. At one point, a flight attendant irked her for saying that since she was in a low-cost airline, they have “low-cost services.”
Low cost airline daw sila. So, low cost din ang services. Yan ang sinabi sa amin ng flight attendant.

And in her last tweet, Panganiban even had an unpleasant experience with an airport security guard. “Kanina nga sa airport, tinanong namin yung guard kung nasan ang VIP lounge, pinalabas niya kami,” she narrated. “So inulit namin yung security check. Katabi lang pala niya yung lounge. Nung tinanong ko siya anong trip niya, sabi lang ‘sorry po.'”
(A while ago at the airport, I asked the guard where the VIP lounge was, but he kept us out. So we had to go through security check all over again. It turned out he was just beside the lounge. When I asked him why he did it, his only response was “sorry.”)
