Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez marked the first birthday of their second son Kai today, March 21.

“It seems like just yesterday, you were in my tummy,” Lahbati reminisced about being pregnant with Kai in an Instagram post. “I would sing to you songs that would now be your favorites… I had doubts if I could do it all over again… being  ‘a new mom’ again seemed daunting.”

According to Lahbati, even when Kai was still in her tummy, he already made his presence known by responding to his “mama,” “dada” and big brother Zion, whenever they would talk or sing to him.
