The party is still on for Keanu Reeves and Alex Winters’ dynamic screen duo Bill and Ted.

The actors announced they are back to do the third installment of the “Bill and Ted” movie series, as seen in a video by Orion Pictures on YouTube yesterday, March 20.

Reeves and Winters introduced themselves as Bill and Ted’s band “The Wyld Stallyns” in front of the Hollywood Bowl, where they will never play in, they joked.

Completing each other’s sentence, the two then said that they “might, actually, hopefully” finally film the next film titled “Bill and Ted 3: Face the Music” during the summer in the U.S.

“It is all because of you guys,” Winters told “Bill and Ted” fans. “So we owe you a huge debt of gratitude and we want to say thank you.”

As per previous reports,  the upcoming movie sees the return of slacker adventurers Theodore “Ted” Logan (Reeves) and Bill S. Preston (Winters), this time as middle-aged dads experiencing a musical slump.

“Bill and Ted 3: Face the Music” is set to be released on Aug. 21, 2020, following the previous film “Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey”, released in July 1991. JB
