LOOK: Korina Sanchez, Mar Roxas’ twins blessed by priest in US
Not wanting to wait any longer to have her twins baptized in the Philippines, Korina Sanchez already had them blessed in the United States with the help of a pastor.
The broadcast journalist, who is currently in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, revealed that her children, 1-month-old Pepe and Pilar were blessed by a local parish priest named Father Steve from the Sacred Heart Church. This she showed through Instagram last Tuesday, March 19.

Sanchez was joined by her relatives, aunt Rosanna Fores and cousin Jose, for the special moment.

In another post, the doting mom said that her daughter wore an all-white outfit as it symbolized “Purity. Happiness. Positivity. God’s Love and Protection.”
While Sanchez received congratulatory messages for her twins, one netizen going by the handle @jayleigh738 commended her, saying that it was a good decision to have the babies blessed before coming home to the Philippines, as per traditional beliefs.

Meanwhile, one @junconcepcion69 noted that Sanchez was indeed a “Catholic mother” as she had the twins blessed before the actual baptism.

Noticeably absent in the blessing was Sanchez’s husband Mar Roxas, who is in the Philippines for his campaign for the May 2019 polls. Roxas is vying for a Senate seat. JB
