Heart Evangelista is ‘maarte’ and ‘that’s fine’
MANILA, Philippines — In her recent vlog post, 34-year-old actress and fashionista Heart Evangelista took on the ‘assumptions challenge.’
Evangelista previously asked her Instagram followers to post their assumptions about her, which she would later answer in a vlog.
The first assumption Heart read was that she has never been to an ‘ukay-ukay.’ Heart answered that she has visited them when she was younger, particularly in Baguio.
Heart also agreed with the assumption that she never leaves the house without wearing makeup.
“I really don’t! Why is that? Because I feel like it’s a responsibility for myself to feel good about myself,” Heart gladly answered.

She also admitted that she never leaves the house without accessories.
“I do everything with my accessories, I think it’s a reflection of who I am,” Heart said.

The actress said she also wears high heels at home. “I’m maarte and that’s fine.”
“Kung anong feel niyong kinagaganda niyo, do it, as long as you’re not stepping on anyone with your high heels, you’re not throwing your high heels at anyone, or you’re not causing anyone to feel bad or whatever,” she said.

She also confessed that while she is high-maintenance, Heart makes sure she works hard to get what she wants.

While she does not cook for her husband Chiz Escudero, Heart giddily said she is really good at table setting and
that makes up for it.
Kiss with Chiz
One netizen wrote the assumption that she made the first move on her husband Sen. Chiz Escudero, to which she replied, “Nakalimutan ko na.”
“I don’t remember who did but I think helped him.”
Heart recalled one night in Tagaytay when they were together when the senator said if all the lights turned off they were going to kiss.
“I don’t know what he did, but they all turned off,” Heart recalled.

Bodyguards
Heart also remembered that she had bodyguards when she was younger and that people who would go on to meet her had to write on a log book.
While she is still protected by bodyguards at present, Heart gave a sigh of relief as she was glad she no longer had to deal with log books with visitors.
Plastic surgery allegations
Another assumption she gets a lot was that she had undergone a double eyelid surgery.
Heart denied the allegations and said she had been asked about it a number of times.
She said that she has nothing against plastic surgery and she is “all for it as long as one knows when to stop.”
