David Licauco doesn’t want to be known only for his sexy body

Playing his career’s biggest role yet in the political romantic comedy series “TODA One I Love” entailed some big adjustments, newbie actor David Licauco said.

“I used to do supporting roles. But now that I play a prominent character, I’m, of course, required to do more scenes.”

“And I would like to continue to do more challenging things as I go on,” he told reporters in a recent pocket interview for the GMA 7 show, where he plays one of Kylie Padilla’s love interests.

For David, working with Kylie and Ruru Madrid, who are relatively more experienced, has been a learning experience so far.

“I learned a lot of things from them that I can apply in the future,” he said.

“I was intimidated by Kylie at first. Ruru, on the other hand, is very quick on his feet when we do scenes together—I feel like I have to keep up. But that’s good for me,” he said.

As of late, David has been getting a lot of attention for his good looks and toned abs, especially in social media. “I’m proud of it (his sexy body); I worked hard for it,” said David.
