Chesca Garcia has started on her in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedure after husband Philippine Basketball Association cager Doug Kramer revealed last February their plan to get pregnant again.

Chesca took to social media recently where she shared with her fans a video of her getting her first injection for the procedure. The doctor demonstrated the steps to Doug, who watched on beside Chesca.

Doug, on his end, took to his own Instagram today, March 7, to document the second day of Chesca’s injections. The cager confessed it was his first time to ever inject a person in his life and was grateful that the doctor instructed him how to do it properly.

The couple decided to share about their IVF journey after moms and couples who have been trying for a baby reached out to them. As per Doug, they considered IVF because of Chesca’s ligation.

“So glad to show awareness that there is a solution for still having a baby despite circumstances,” he said. “We have different reasons, but for us, it’s because of Chesca’s ligation.”

Doug shared back in February that Chesca got ligated after getting pregnant for almost two straight years.

“Scarlett and Gavin took a toll [on] Chesca’s body so we decided to have her ligated,” he said then. “But it’s been 6 years and we did the necessary steps to check if her body is ready and healthy now.”

At present, the couple has three children: 9-year-old Kendra, 7-year-old Scarlett and 6-year-old Gavin.  /ra
