WATCH: James Corden becomes a Jonas Brother, sings about ‘Year 2019’

It turns out there is another member of the Jonas Brothers aside from Nick, Joe and Kevin.

James Corden jammed with the pop-rock trio as they sang about the “Year 2019” — a parody of the band’s song “Year 3000” — in a “Late Late Show” episode which aired Tuesday night, March 5.

The segment showed the brothers wearing costumes of their younger selves from the year 2006. Next, they had a rehearsal, where they sang about a “British voice” who claimed to have built a time machine. This was the cue for Corden who came to the set and joined the group in singing.

The song further described how 2019 turned out, with references to “the host of ‘The Apprentice'” Donald Trump becoming the United States’ president and how “weird” that was.

The parody also had other references to the present, such as Nick now being married to Indian actress and beauty queen Priyanka Chopra, and how the band got back together and are “doing fine.”

“Year 3000” was a single in the band’s debut album “It’s About Time”, released in 2005. But the boys’ version of the song is only a cover, as it was originally performed by the British rock band Busted. JB
