Nadine says James is her ‘biggest instrument for healing’
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Nadine Lustre got emotional as she bared how James Reid played a big part in her “healing.”

The 25-year-old actress tried to hold back tears as she opened up about her relationship with Reid during an interview in “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on Monday.
“‘Yung naging transition ko from who I was before to the person I am now is so beautiful na kahit hindi na kami ni James, he will always have a place in my heart,” Lustre said.
When Lustre was asked if she can imagine her life without Reid, the actress said: “Parang no. Iiyak ako. Kasi iba talaga. I’m really really thankful that he came in to my life. It was so different before.”
“I think he was the biggest instrument for my healing and for just discovering myself and finding myself,” Lustre said of Reid.
Lustre also shared the change she underwent in her relationship with Reid.
“I can say that I changed a lot in the relationship for the better. Before po kasi ‘yung mga small things, sobrang nagwo-worry ako palagi kasi I’m an overthinker,” Lustre confessed.
“Pero now kasi, I’ve learned how to handle it properly, to let the bad stuff go. I don’t hold grudges anymore, I’m always positive,” she added. “I’m very calm now. And I learned how to communicate and open up.”
Lustre and Reid have been together for three years now. They first admitted their relationship in 2016 during their first major concert titled “JaDine in Love.” /muf
