Lee Jong-suk to start military service in March

MANILA, Philippines — Korean actor Lee Jong-suk is slated for military enlistment on March 8, 2019, his management agency said on Tuesday.

“Jong-suk starts his alternative service as a social service personnel on March 8,” A-man Project said in a statement.

The management also said Lee has already wrapped up the filming of his drama “Romance is a Bonus Book” with actress Lee Na-young.

“Jong-suk will perform their military duties in good health and sincerity for the next two years. Thank you,” the statement added.

Lee jumpstarted his career by becoming the youngest runway model at the Seoul Fashion Week in 2005 at the age of 15.

He debuted as an actor in 2010 with the drama “Princess Prosecutor.” He also starred in dramas “Doctor Stranger” (2014), “Pinocchio” (2014-2015), “W” (2016) and “While You Were Sleeping” (2017). /muf
