Since she is only days away from giving birth to her second child, LJ Reyes penned a heartwarming message of thanks to her firstborn, Aki.
The Kapuso actress showed gratitude to her 8-year-old son in time for the new year, as seen in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
She listed down all the things she was thankful for to her son, such as teaching her how to be “a tough yet loving mother.”
“I may not be able to give you the world, but I give you all of me, my heart, my soul and my mind,” she told him. “You showed me what love really is!”
Reyes then thanked him for “bringing so much joy into my life!”
“Thank you for showing me how to be happy and free even in the midst of trials and hardships!” she added.
She even noted that her boy is growing up so fast, adding, “I want you to stay small and keep you in my arms, I know that’s not possible.”
“2019 will be great my dear!” Reyes said ardently. “We’ll be taking the whole ride together.”
Reyes is currently pregnant with her and partner Paolo Contis’ baby girl, whom they have named Summer Ayanna. Meanwhile, Aki is the actress’ son with ex-boyfriend Paulo Avelino. /ra
