Why Paolo Contis, LJ Reyes chose to name their baby girl ‘Summer Ayanna’

Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes revealed during their recent baby shower that they plan to name their daughter Summer Ayanna.
Reyes told fans the reasons why they chose those two names, via an Instagram post on Monday, Nov. 26. The photo showed her, Contis and her 8-year-old son Aki, who is holding a placard bearing the baby’s full name — Summer Ayanna Reyes Contis.
According to Reyes, they chose the first name “Summer” for it was something she wanted to call her child ever since she became a mother. Meanwhile, they wanted the baby’s second name to be starting with the letter “A.” Reyes then settled for “Ayanna,” an African name which means “beautiful flower”.
“When I think of Summer, I think of warm hugs and a light that gives hope!” Reyes said. “A season in full bloom! And that is how our baby girl is to us.”
She also explained why they have been so private before about revealing their daughter’s name. “[B]ecause we want to just truly enjoy every moment of having a new baby [and] decide on our own the name we want to call her,” she said.

Likewise, Contis too was excited on meeting his daughter soon.
