LOOK: ‘Bagets’ cast hold mini reunion in time for Christmas
The cast of the beloved 1984 teeny-bopper movie “Bagets” had a mini-reunion in time for the holidays.

“Merry Christmas from the Bagets!” wrote cast member Eula Valdes on her Instagram account last Tuesday, Dec. 4. Joining the reunion were Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, singer Raymond Lauchengco, Cheska Iñigo, Yayo Aguila and Ramon Christopher Gutierrez.
Iñigo got sentimental as she posted a photo of the Bagets reunion on her account. This time, joining them was Lauchengco’s wife Mia. “I didn’t have a high school batch, instead I had these guys,” she said. “Thank you, Lord for sharing them with me. 34 years and counting.”

Since she is not part of the cast, Mia made fun of herself, saying, “One of the most common comments in photos of this nature run along the lines of ‘Girl in black dress, hu u?'”

Some fans of the famous roster could not contain their joy at seeing the bunch reunited. Netizen @peter19861 complimented that everyone “still looks great.”

Noticeably absent from the reunion were William Martinez, JC Bonnin, Jobelle Salvador and Aga Muhlach. Bonnin now works in the United States in the health-care industry, according to an Inquirer report last September. JB
