Talent manager and columnist Lolit Solis recently took to social media where she shared to fans her experience of meeting Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go and former chief of the Philippine National Police Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.

Solis had a ball during Go’s recent meeting with the media, sharing that she could not stop laughing as Go regaled them with stories of his childhood.

It was a good thing, as per Solis, that members of the Philippine media met Go and discovered he is not uptight at all, but “very lovable.”

“Buti na lang na meet ng showbiz press si Sec. Bong Go at nalaman na hindi naman pala uptight ang ugali nito, makuwento at very lovable, parang sincere na sincere magsalita at direct to the point,” narrated Solis on her Instagram on Dec. 5.

(It’s good that showbiz press met Sec. Bong Go; they finally knew that he is not uptight, is actually open about sharing stories and very lovable. It’s as if he is really sincere when he speaks, and is direct to the point.)

One of the things she discovered about Go was how he is a huge fan of movies.

“Alam niya ang takbo ng industriya,” she said. “Alam niya na nagkarun ng slump at medyo nabawasan ang dami ng mga pelikulang ginagawa.”

(He knows how the industry runs. He knows that there has been a slump and film production slightly decreased.)

Solis also shared Go’s revelation that he used to urinate inside the theater when he was a kid, so he need not miss any scene in the movie he is watching.

Solis also gave glimmering reviews to dela Rosa in another Instagram post on the same day. She likened dela Rosa to a comedian.

“…[G]rabe humor niya ha, without effort matatawa ka pag bumitaw siya ng punchline,” she noted.

(His humor is great, without effort you will laugh when he drops a punchline.)

Back in October, both dela Rosa and Go filed their certificates of candidacy at the Commission on Elections’ main office. The two are gunning for Senate seats in the 2019 midterm elections under the Duterte-chaired Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan. JB
