Angelina Mead King gets into accident during Ferrari race in Italy
Car enthusiast Angelina Mead King recently flew to Monza, Italy to take part in this year’s Finali Mondiali race at the Monza Circuit, which ran from Nov. 1 to 4. King took to her social media in Nov. 2, where she excitedly posted a picture of her with her Ferrari 488 in the background.
“Buiongiorno!” King wrote. “With my baby at Monza Italy.”
Many fans and supporters wished King good luck for the race, but things went awry her way as shown in her Instagram post yesterday, Nov. 4, where she showed a picture of her wrecked sports car.

“Check out the right corner of the video. The damage to my car is severe. Had to drop the gearbox and subframe from the impact,” King narrated. “Tell me what you think?! Hoping my team @scuderia.corsa and the local partner team can get my car back in the race today.”

The casualties, however, did not end there. In another post shared on the same day, King showed a video of her getting into a second crash during what seems to be another race.
In the video, a red sports car can be seen hitting the sidelines, before sliding into the tracks and ramming King’s vehicle in the process, an impact that caused King to slam into the sidelines as well. Debris flew in the air.

King was clearly upset, as she wrote, “What a devastating weekend. 3 DNFs (Did Not Finish) and possibly the shortest race in my race career. I am sore and depressed with how my Finali Mondiali turned out to be a derby instead of a race.”
But although disappointed, King still extended her utmost gratitude to her team for the support: “Thank you to @scuderia.corsa for everything! The team was amazing to keep on track every time.”
Most importantly, King is grateful that despite all that happened, she is safe and was able to get out of the casualty alive.
“Sh*t happens and I am glad I was able to walk away from this accident.” JB
