Why Jasmine Curtis-Smith transferred to another network
Jasmine Curtis-Smith has come into her own. She is no longer known just as the little sister of Anne Curtis. No sibling rivalry between them, just revelry. They celebrate each other’s triumphs.
I like how genuinely warm both of them are. They spread their joie de vivre around so well. Sugar and spice personified.
Jasmine, a former talent of TV 5, is agog over her first show as a Kapuso, “Pamilya Roces” (after “Onanay” on GMA Telebabad). Everything is coming up roses for Jasmine as she keeps blooming in new territory.
Here’s my chat with Jasmine:
What do you love about your new show? Our story. I find it so entertaining and I actually want to go home and watch it so I can see how it played out from script to screen.

What are your thoughts on marriage, fidelity and jealousy? Never been there, except jealousy! I now use any realized jealousy to confront my inner darkest/lamest/truest/most honest wants and desires so I can figure out how to make it positive and not get stuck with just feeling jealous.
If you could be a guy for a week, who would you want to trade places with? None. (laughs.) Is it rude to say I’m not really interested in a man’s world? We’ve lived in one for quite some time, anyway.
What’s the best and toughest part of being the sister of Anne Curtis? The best and toughest part is always the expectations prior to meeting. I never know if I’ve done well … [as expected] as the younger sister and as an individual trying to also just do decent and good work.
How do you and Anne resolve misunderstandings? It’s usually Ate who comes around first and tries to talk some sense into me. It’s not the type of resolution where someone needs to say sorry. It’s more of a talk that needs to happen so we both know what happened, how each other felt, what we both understood from the situation and what we could work on. I’m honestly often the stubborn one!
What’s the cheesiest thing that your boyfriend has done for you? Everything! But our love has everything in it, sweet and sour, and cheesy.
PERSONAL: Damo guid nga salamat to Tita Chu,Dolly Yasa, Nilo Tortogo, Nickie Wang, Pau Ducay and Jojo Aquio for such a fun time in Bacolod!
Congrats to Paul Vidal for passing the Chemical Technician Licensure Examination.
