LOOK: Cristine Reyes basks in newly opened pristine Boracay

Cristine Reyes was among the tourists who wasted no time in jetting off to Boracay once it re-opened.

The island welcomed visitors to its white sand shores Friday, Oct. 26, after a six-month rehabilitation to clean it up and ensure that local businesses abided by laws to protect the environment.

The actress took her daughter Amarah to Boracay, sharing pictures and videos on Instagram of them both soaking in the sun and swimming in the crystal clear waters.

“Let’s keep it nice and clean,” she urged in a post last Friday where she and Amarah are seen walking along the beach in colorful dresses.

Actress Coleen Garcia was also among the eager visitors to Boracay. She gushed in an Instagram post yesterday, Oct. 27, that the beach was “noticeably cleaner” and also encouraged tourists to maintain its cleanliness. JB
