Jodi Sta. Maria on alone time as part of self-care routine: ‘I enjoy solitude’

Not everyone can truly say they enjoy their own company, but for actress Jodi Sta. Maria, solitude and introspection are non-negotiables when it comes to her self-care routine.
Sta. Maria recently took to social media to share to her fans what she does during alone time. In her Instagram post on Wednesday, Oct. 24, Sta. Maria showed a picture she took of an empty movie theater.
“As part of my self-care routine, I watch a movie by my lonesome and take myself out on a dinner,” she said.

Sta. Maria further shared that solitude and being alone with her thoughts are things she find enjoyable. “I love to watch and observe people. I do a lot of introspection.”
It seems, however, that she took alone time to the highest level when she revealed that the movie theater she went to at the time only had one customer: she.
“This is taken to a different level when the movie house received its only customer — ME,” Sta. Maria said in amusement. “Wow. I feel special.”
Sta. Maria didn’t reveal to her fans just what film she watched that rendered her all by herself in the vast void of the movie theater—ghosts notwithstanding, for believers of the supernatural. But one thing is for certain: She sure had a lot of room for headspace. /ra
