Jodi Sta. Maria stresses value of family in Instagram photo with ex-husband

Actress Jodi Sta. Maria highlighted on Saturday the importance of family as she posted a picture showing her with ex-husband Panfilo Lacson Jr. and their son, Thirdy.

Also in the picture are Lacson’s current partner Iwa Moto and their daughter, Eve.

Sta. Maria admitted in her Instagram post that their family was not perfect, “but through God’s grace, what was once broken is made whole again.”

She also branded Lacson’s new family as a “simple family” with a goal of loving and supporting their children.

“Some may find it weird or awkward, but for us, we are simple a FAMILY who respects each other and works as a team towards one goal: to LOVE and SUPPORT our children,” she said.

Only three hours after being published, the post already gained more than 65,700 likes and 700 comments, many of which were praises.

Others said they were inspired, saying Lacson and Sta. Maria had set a great example for everyone. /atm
