WATCH: ‘Aladdin’ teaser shows magic hidden in kingdom of Agrabah
There is magic hidden in the kingdom of Agrabah, and one peasant will discover it.
Disney revealed the first teaser trailer for the live-movie adaptation of “Aladdin” on Friday, giving fans what they have waited for.
The teaser gave a glimpse of the kingdom, then shifted to the Cave of Wonders in the shape of a tiger. The magical cave says only “the diamond in the rough” is allowed to enter, and shows Aladdin (Mena Massoud) looking amazed as he gazes in the lamp.
The “Aladdin” live action film is directed by Guy Ritchie, and features Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine and Will Smith as Genie.
The film is slated for release on May 24, 2019, in US theaters. /ra
