Morissette Amon represents PH in Asia Song Festival 2018

Singer Morisette Amon will represent the Philippines anew at the Asia Song Festival in Busan, South Korea, alongside K-pop groups and Asian artists.

The two-day event that started on Tuesday, Oct. 2 and ends today, Wednesday, October 3, at the Busan Asian Stadium is the 15th edition of the festival with theme “Asia is One.”

In an Instagram story posted on Wednesday, Oct. 3, Amon shared a clip of her showing the venue of the festival with caption “We’re back!!!!”

This is Amon’s second year to participate after gracing the prestigious festival in 2017 with her rendition of Little Mix’s “Secret Love Song,” and a medley of “Best of My Love” and “Emotion.”

The video of her performance last year went viral and garnered the first spot of trending videos on Youtube in South Korea.

Amon will share the stage tonight with popular Korean acts like Wanna One, SEVENTEEN, Red Velvet and Momoland.

The “ASAP” regular is the first Filipino artist to be given her own channel on V-live, a South Korean live video streaming service used by Korean celebrities.

Amon recently won the Female Concert Performer of the Year award with her sold-out “Morissette is Made” at the Araneta Coliseum, Cebu, Davao and United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the 2018 Star Awards for Music on Sept. 9. /cbb
