WATCH: Jhong Hilario spills details on Anne Curtis’ baby plans
So when is Anne Curtis planning to have a baby? Everybody now has an idea, thanks to Jhong Hilario.
Hilario may have spilled the beans on his co-host’s baby plans in the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” segment of “It’s Showtime” last Saturday, Sept. 8.
In the clip posted on YouTube, Hilario was joking on Janel Favila, a contestant in the singing contest. He noted that since she is now 28 years old, “Eh di ba sabi nila pag lumagpas na ng 30, medyo na a-ano na ‘yan, nahihirapan na daw magpa-anak di ‘ba?” Favila replied: “May options.”
(Isn’t it said that when women hit past 30, it gets difficult for them to bear a child?) (There are options.)
The “It’s Showtime” mainstay then brought up Curtis: “Di ako naniniwala doon kasi si Anne nga eh, ‘di ba? Magkaka–anak daw siya, next year ba?”
(“I don’t believe in that because of people like Anne, right? She said she’s going to have a baby, is it next year?”)
Curtis replied with a hearty laugh: “Secret!” She then told Hilario: “Baka private conversation… [laughs] (It was a private conversation).” Vhong Navarro then chimed in, “Tayu-tayo lang nag-uusap nun eh (It was only us who were talking)!”
Hilario then defended: “Kaya nga ako nagtatanong kung next year ba (That’s why I’m asking if it’s next year, right)?”
Curtis ended the conversation by saying, “Basta secret, secret!” (It’s just a secret!) Navarro added: “Pero good luck dyan ha (But still good luck on that)!”
Curtis explained in a previous report that she preferred to enjoy her first year of marriage to celebrity chef Erwan Heussaff before becoming a mom. She and Heussaff got married in New Zealand back in November 2017. Katrina Hallare /ra
