WATCH: Pokwang’s nose ‘bleeds’ after reading English story to baby Malia
Just because actress and comedian Pokwang’s at home doesn’t mean the gags have to stop coming. But if there’s something that perhaps needs polishing, it may be Pokwang’s English skills as her nose “bled” when she tried reading a story recently to baby Malia in English.
Pokwang shared the funny spectacle on her Instagram last Aug 20. In the video, Pokwang can be seen sitting on a sofa at home, while her baby daughter Malia sits close to her, carried by her nanny.
Pokwang held a children’s book in her hands. “Malia I will read 5 minute story for you in English, I can do this, okay?” Pokwang said as she pretended to struggle with reading the text.

“Ayan… One day… um… Ah okay, kaya ko to anak,” Pokwang read on, laughing awkwardly. “And then… and then the… wait kaya ko to anak, wait teka eto...”

As far as motherhood is concerned, it’s apparent that Pokwang’s doing a great job in keeping baby Malia entertained and amused. Comedy, after all, is her bread and butter and it’s safe to say that motherhood is, too.
Pokwang gave birth to baby Malia last January with American partner William Lee O’Brian. Baby Malia was then baptized in Antipolo, Rizal, last April, with the likes of comedians K Brosas, Jonathan “Chokoleit” Garcia and Reynold “Pooh” Garcia, among others, as witnesses to her christening. /ra
