Yassi Pressman came home shocked after seeing her injured father, who felt fine enough to crack a joke about it.

Pressman had just come home from work on the evening of Aug. 5 when she saw her father bloodied from a long gash over his eyebrow, a small cut on his right cheek and a deep red bruise under his eye. Yet despite the injury, the elderly Pressman smiled comfortably in a photo Pressman shared in an Aug. 7 Instagram post.

“My Papito fell the other night, di ko na ikkwento kung paano, pero look at that pogi, its amazing how he’s up and smiling…,” wrote Pressman.

(My Papito fell the other night, I won’t get into the details, but look at that handsome [man], it’s amazing how he’s up and smiling…)

Pressman’s father recently celebrated his 89th birthday on July 10. Yet despite his injuries at an advanced age, the elderly Pressman joked about the circumstance at the time while referencing the action-packed movie “Buy Bust” by Erik Matti, which stars Anne Curtis.

“What?! You didn’t see me in ‘Buy Bust?’ What I did to the other guy was worse!”

The actress currently stars in the TV series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” beside leading man Coco Martin. Pressman will also star in an upcoming movie titled “Born Ready” by Luch Balao.  /ra
