Ai-Ai de las Alas still refuses to answer questions about Kris Aquino
The Queen of All Media Kris Aquino and Kapamilya comedian Vice Ganda have recently renewed their friendship.
This prompted people to wonder if Kris would soon rekindle her ties with Comedy Queen Ai-ai delas Alas.
However, Ai-Ai still refuses to entertain questions related to her former “Friendship.”
In an interview with the actress for a brand endorsement last July 24, Ai-Ai was asked about her thoughts on Kris and Vice Ganda’s recent reconciliation for her the sake of Kris’ son Bimby.
However, Ai-Ai only said, “Alam mo, ‘pag tungkol kay, sa kanya, hindi ko talaga sinasagot ‘yung mga questions kasi either positive or negative, parati namang negative, kaya ‘wag na lang.”
(You know, if it’s about, her, I really don’t answer questions because it’s either [taken] positively or negatively and almost always, it’s taken negatively so, never mind.)
Kris and Ai-Ai were friends for a long time especially during the period when they were both contract artists of ABS-CBN. Ai-Ai returned to her former TV network, GMA, in 2015.
In an interview with Vice Ganda on his comedy talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice,” Ai-Ai said she was an avid supporter of former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino. This eventually led her to form a friendship with Cory’s daughter Kris.
However, rumors about the strained friendship of Kris and Ai-Ai began circulating in 2013 when Kris allegedly failed to show up at the wake of the comedian’s biological mother.
The two met again at the wedding of Kapuso royal couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes in 2014 and reportedly reconciled.
However, Kris and Ai-Ai, former “Sisterakas” co-stars, still seem distant to each other to this day. /vvp
