Gabbi Garcia draws support after being blamed for grandfather’s death

After actress Gabbi Garcia’s grandfather passed away recently, one netizen blamed the actress for his death instead of offering condolences.

“I’ll leave this here,” wrote Garcia on Twitter alongside a screengrab of the netizen’s comment last Sunday, July 22. The comment which was left on the actress’ Instagram post was directed to her and her sister Alex.

“Oh ano na @alexdnclz [Alexandra “Alex” Lopez] @_gabbigarcia [Gabbi Garcia]? Namatay lolo nyo?!?! Lol edi mabuti nga!” commented the netizen, @sellingphonecase, on Instagram.

(So what now @alexdnclz @_gabbigarcia? Your grandfather died? Lol that’s good!)

The said netizen also took a jab at Garcia’s friend, Khalil Ramos, with whom she is rumored to be in a relationship: “Kasi namanang reason mo @_gabbigarcia sapag-alis sa sps [Sunday PinaSaya] ay family mo, pero nakikita naman ng lahat ay [h]indi mo naman palagi kasama yang family mo kasi ang mas nakasama mo ay yang gago na Khalil at mga kabilang network mong friend!”

(Your reason @_gabbigarcia for leaving Sunday PinaSaya was your family, but everyone can see that you are not spending your time with your family because you are with that stupid Khalil and your friends from the other network!)

“Mas inuna mo pa @_gabbigarcia yung landi, gala at walwal kasama yang bad influence na si Khalil Ramos na [a]raw araw mong kasama!” added the netizen.

“Ni isa [h]indi namin na kita na nag spespend time ka kasama lolo mo!” wrote the netizen. “Kaya karma yan! Sana matuluyan rin yang [lola] mo at parents mo!”

(Not once did we see you spending time with your grandfather! It’s karma! I hope your grandmother and parents die as well!)

The netizen ended his/er comment bringing up Ramos once more and their frequent late-night hangouts: “Nakasama mo lang yang si Khalil ay palagi ka nang nasa labas at late night pa!”

(Since you’ve been with Khalil you are always staying out late at night!)

Fans were quick to react to Garcia’s post, voicing out their support for the actress. Some said that the netizen will receive his or her karma for the comment.

Garcia shared the news of her grandfather’s death via Instagram last Thursday, July 19.

“You are the most generous and [kind-hearted] person I know,” wrote the actress. “I will miss you and your silly jokes, and how you would go from neighbor to neighbor just to announce that ‘GABBI GARCIA IS MY APO (granddaughter)!'”
