Erich Gonzales chose to remain quiet when asked about her love life.
“Dumadating pala sa punto habang tumatanda tayo na gusto natin ng tahimik na lang na buhay. Na kung ano yung sa ’yo, yung personal mong buhay sa ’yo na lang. Puwede naman pala, may choice ka,” said Gonzales.
(There comes a time as we age that we want a quiet life–such that what’s personal remains personal. I realized it can be done, that you have a choice.)
Gonzales chose to keep her personal and love life a private matter when asked about her current relationship status on the evening talk show “Tonight with Boy Abunda.”
The actress found age to be a factor on how a person perceives privacy–the older one gets, the more a person prefers to keep personal matters personal.
Gonzales also talked about the part she played in putting together the latest film she starred in, “We Will Not Die Tonight,” which is directed by Richard Somes. Apart from doing her own stunts and fight scenes, Gonzales also worked as a co-producer. She claimed to have financed the principal photography for the project.
“Makikita mo talaga lahat ng ginagawa sa pagbuo ng isang pelikula. Mahirap sya tito Boy (You really get to see the entire process of making a film. It’s not easy, tito Boy),” said the actress.
“We Will Not Die Tonight” will be released in Philippine theaters on Aug.15. The movie had its premiere during the opening of the New York Asian Film Festival 2018 on June 29. /ra
