After an exchange that left netizens excited, Vice Ganda and a UST athlete dropped a few more flirty tweets.
Yesterday, Vice ended the initial banter with the dare, “Kung seryoso ka aabangan ko ang tweet mo mamayang 4 p.m. (If you’re serious I’ll wait for your tweet later at 4 p.m.). Game!”
For some time after the conversation, it seemed that UST volleyball player Manuel “Wewe” Medina’s Twitter account was private. However, it switched to public again and the athlete had a message for Vice—albeit past the 4 p.m. deadline.
“GAME?” Medina tweeted using the account @andreimawel.
“Anung laro (What game)?” wondered Vice.
What claims to be Medina’s official account, @wewemedina replied, “Sagot na (Answer already).”
Consecutive tweets from the account kept on insisting on a response, leading some to believe that it wasn’t real.
But hours later, Vice posted a cryptic tweet: “Masaya na. Tulog na (Happy already. Sleep already).”
What—or who—could have made Vice happy?
The “It’s Showtime” host has a “romance” with dancer Jacque Gonzaga as a running joke on the variety show. Hopefully, whatever new relationship he enters will be something genuine. /ra
