James Yap’s GF Michela Cazzola breaks silence on child support issue

Following allegations that James Yap has not provided son Bimby with child support, the PBA cager has remained mum on the issue.
Bimby is his second child and the only one he has with ex-wife Kris Aquino. According to the Queen of All Media, Yap has only paid his share of her son’s tuition once. He has since reportedly refused to shoulder expenses for his son because he was not consulted on Bimby’s transfer to another school.
Michela Cazzola, Yap’s current girlfriend has kept her distance from the feud. However, their silence hasn’t stopped prying netizens from giving their take on it.
One netizen @manalllopez grilled the Italian beauty on her Instagram page: “Michela we know you’re a decent, classy and kind lady. Why don’t you tell James to provide for Bimby’s needs; it’s in the law.”
Cazzola penned a simple reply: “I mind my business and so should you, don’t you think that would be the most appropriate thing to do?”

But the netizen still insisted that Cazzola speak up: “It’s the reputation of your partner and the father of your kids and also James’s dignity that’s being question in here (sic) but… Whatever.”

“It’s the perception you created in your mind, it’s not necessarily the reality,” said Cazzola.
The netizen appeared to be satisfied with her response. “Hope this will also be in the news because let’s admit James’s name is destroyed right now, thanks for your understanding and clarification.”

Other Instagram followers also praised her no-frills answer. One @n_moviehouse noted, “What you say is a reflection of your state of mind and I can safely say you are at peace, in a nice place, pragmatic and a positive person.”
S/he added, “Yung gusto magstart ng kanegahaan like this Ms. Manalla, doon ka sa IG nung isa (Those who want to start negativity like this Ms. Manalla, go to the Instagram of the other one).”
Cazzola expressed her gratitude to the netizen in a reply.

Cazzola is currently expecting her second child with Yap, a baby girl. The two are parents to baby MJ who will turn 2 years old this August.
Their growing family was featured last night on the TV show “Rated K” hosted by Korina Sanchez, in an episode which also featured other celebrity babies. Aquino claims that the episode — which comes after repeated allegations that Yap has been a neglectful father — is a slap to her face, as she feels the matter of Yap being featured is something personal between her and “ang misis ni Mar Roxas (Mar Roxas’ wife).”
Both Cazzola and Yap have yet to react to Aquino’s remarks. JB
