Anne Curtis all set for the London Marathon on Sunday
Anne Curtis took to her Instagram five days ago to express her jitters over the upcoming 2018 London Marathon, in which she will be participating. Her participation in the marathon, which will be held this Sunday, is for a good cause, as Curtis is dedicating her 42-kilometer run to the children of the Philippines.
“Hoping to raise P84,000 for UNICEF Philippines my second time around,” wrote Curtis on her online fundraising campaign.
It seems that the jitters have left, however, when Curtis took to her Instagram Stories just last night to show a video of her prepping for the race. “Morning run! What a view!!!” Curtis wrote as she showed her followers that she had already landed in London, England.
Husband Erwan Heussaff accompanied her and is in full support, although he unfortunately did not get a slot in the marathon.
In another Instagram Story yesterday, Curtis showed herself in the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon Expo in the ExCel Exhibition Center in London where she picked up her running number and bib. “@londonmarathon here we go!!!” Curtis wrote excitedly. “Running number and bib picked up today.”

Her online fundraising campaign, on the other hand, has exceeded its target of P84,000. Thus far, P174, 572 has been raised from about 150 donors, both local and foreign. “Your support will continue to inspire me to do my best even when the going gets tough!” wrote Anne. “I know each kilometer will be worth it!”
Best of luck, Anne! /ra
