LOOK: Lea Salonga takes time for photo op with Robert De Niro at Broadway show

Lea Salonga posed for a photo with Hollywood actor Robert De Niro after he watched the musical “Once on This Island.”

Salonga shared the photo on Instagram with the caption “Thank you, sir, for visiting the island with your lovely family! #RobertDeNiro @onceislandbway.”

Playing as goddess of love Erzulie on the Broadway play, Salonga has encountered a good number of celebrities during the shows. Last December, she also met the composers of “Let It Go” from Disney’s famed animated film “Frozen.”

Meanwhile, netizen Derek Medina (@dukederekthethird) made the observation that Salonga looked like Anne Hathaway. He also noted that her photo with the Hollywood actor was reminiscent of the movie “The Intern” where De Niro played the role of an elderly intern to young CEO Hathaway.  /ra
