Team Kramer’s viral video earns Scarlett birthday greeting from K-pop idol

Like many K-pop fans, Doug and Chesca Kramer’s daughter Scarlett wants to meet her idols, particularly one from the boy band iKON.

Even more than meeting them, she wants Korean-American rapper and singer Bobby to attend her seventh birthday party this November.

To save him some trouble and a lot of cash, dad Doug took to social media to make a plea for Scarlett.

“Scarlett is celebrating her seventh birthday this coming November, so matagal pa (it’s still far away). Kaya lang (But) she’s already asking for a birthday present — a request that I can’t afford.”

“It’s not a physical gift, it’s a performance. She wants Bobby of iKON, the KPop singer who sang  ‘Saranghae’ to perform or sing for her at her birthday,” he explained of the seemingly impossible present.

Message to Bobby of Ikon

He joked, “I can’t afford you, Bobby. Discount? 90 percent?”

He said Scarlett had been crying just to get her birthday present and asked for fans to help him get a message to Bobby.

The six-year-old made her case with her big adorable eyes as she begged, “Bobby can you please go to my birthday? Bobby can you go to my birthday please?”

The video quickly got to Bobby as he sent a birthday message on the same day.

“Hey Scarlett this is Uncle Bobby, happy birthday!” he said and started singing to 50 Cent’s “In Da Club”.

“It’s your birthday, we’re gonna party like it’s your birthday,” he sang. “I don’t know if this is appropriate for you but happy birthday!”

And then he messaged!!! Viral video indeed! Thank you soooo much @bobbyindaeyo! Scarlett is in disbelief!Thank you so much to the Team Kramer fans too!!!

Scarlett and her siblings Kendra and Gavin — who are also Ikonics, thanks to their nanny Cris Jean Silva — were all elated by the response and recorded a thank you video.
