Best friends, turned bitter friends, then good friends again, Ahron Villena and Kakai Bautista are set to star in a movie together.
Based on the recent posts of both actors in their respective Instagram accounts, the two will be co-stars in a movie that will be produced by CineKo Productions.
Bautista wrote: “Hello! We are Harry and Patty. For all God’s reason we are surreally here, we are grateful. Thank you God, all glory are yours!”
On the other hand, Villena posted a photo of them together and wrote, “Meet Harry Patty… Directed by Julius Alfonso #cineKo #obra.”
Bautista also gave her Instagram followers a sneak peak of her character, Patty.
Meanwhile, Villena also introduced his character Harry and was all smiles despite his round-the-clock taping for an episode of long-running Kapamilya drama anthology, “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”
He also did not take a day off and went to work despite his birthday.
Villena and Bautista had been embroiled in a much publicized friendship shakeup in 2017 when Villena vehemently denied a “past romance” with Bautista.
Villena immediately took to social media to deny Bautista’s statements then that supposedly suggested they had been an item.
Villena issued a heart-crushing statement, which would surely bruise any hopeless romantic: “Naging tayo ba?”
It immediately became viral and Bautista’s social media pages became the bashing stock of netizens, who wanted to pick on the actress’ heartbreak.
Bautista later gave an all-out revelation that she indeed loved her best friend, and she hoped that their friendship would turn into real romance. She also revealed that she was deeply hurt with what happened.
Now, Bautista proudly tells she has moved on.
Villena and Bautista have since rekindled their friendship, and good things followed them through. /kga
