Former ‘80s teen queen Sheryl Cruz has definitely kept her frame and beauty throughout the years. But how does one keep in shape?

Cruz lets her secret out: Hula hoop.

Cruz lately filled her Instagram account with videos of her dancing in weighted hula hoop.

In a four-part hula hoop video, she was dancing to the tune of Hula Hoop Remix by OMI feat. Machel Montano while trying to balance out the toy.

Aside from being a doting mom to daughter Ashley and maintaining a showbiz career, Cruz is also a known fitness enthusiast.

A quick look at her Instagram profile shows her workout routines, which likewise included Zumba.

In past interviews, Cruz said that she uses a 2.5-pound weighted hula hoop to help her target her core, and burn calories on specific areas.

Her love for dancing as her primary medium of exercise is also evident on her page.

Cruz is among the most successful products of the country’s most phenomenal star-producing variety show “That’s Entertainment” in the late ‘80s. She was paired with Romnick Sarmenta, and their team-up was among the most sought-after love teams in the ‘80s.                /kga
