Ryan Reynolds continues to live up to the character of Deadpool when he sent co-star Josh Brolin an inspired birthday message.
The photo shows Deadpool painting a portrait of Brolin’s character Cable. However, the portrait looks more like Brolin’s younger self as he appeared in the 1985 movie “The Goonies.” It looks like Deadpool’s short stint as Bob Ross has paid off.
Reynolds writes on the caption, “Happy Birthday, Bright Eye. You don’t taste a day over 40.”

Some netizens were surprised to discover that Brolin had been the same sleeveless-shirt-wearing teen from the old movie. Others immediately recognized the “Goonies” reference. The Instagram post has gotten over 1.2 million likes so far.
