Sharon happy to have made peace with Gabby, her ‘original prince charming’

Megastar Sharon Cuneta has been paired with so many leading men, but her most unforgettable and inarguably most phenomenal team-up was that with her first on-screen partner Gabby Concepcion, whom she would later marry and then divorce.
Their relationship, which started back when they filmed their first movie “Dear Heart,” was been followed by an entire nation.
Even after their last on-screen union in 1992 for the movie “Tayong Dalawa,” their story has always held a huge place in the hearts of their fans. The enthusiasm for their teamup has been reignited with their recent appearance together in a fast food chain commercial.
Scanning through Sharon and Gabby’s social media accounts, memorabilia of their stellar careers and real life love story have consistently been posted.
In one lengthy two-part entry, Sharon reposted a story uploaded by a friend named Cathy Sanchez Babao on Facebook about a doctor friend who made a terminally ill patient happy upon showing the Sharon-Gabby reunion commercial.
To Sharon, no matter what happened between her and Gabby, good and bad, every single thing they did together was no less of a success.
“I had a feeling this would be something special – mainly because every single thing Gabby and I ever did and made together (including our daughter, hahaha!) was a sure success, & in more ways than one,” she wrote.
“But I didn’t know what to expect in terms of how our public would receive us now that we are older, now that we have been apart for 26 years onscreen, & not exactly friends offscreen.”

After their separation in 1987, the two had a tumultuous relationship. They may still have done movies that, just like everything else, topped box-office records, but in real life, things were’t as smooth-sailing for the couple.
Now, after years of hate and disconnection, Sharon and Gabby have finally found forgiveness. And so their families, friends and fans are just too overwhelmed.
With peace in her heart, Sharon finally reveals that Gabby, her first husband and father of her first born, was her “original prince charming” and she thanks him for everything.
“Now there is more that only Gabby my original Prince Charming and I can do. Thank you, Gabby. For the years of true love, for KC, for all the happy memories.”

In the end, she seemed to put the fans’ hopes up when she somewhat gave off an intriguing statement. With an emphasis on “May,” could she be referring to a possible materialization of their big-screen reunion set to happen this coming month of May?
“And yes, hang in there. This MAY just really be ONLY THE BEGINNING… HELLO, EVERYONE! We are Gabby and Sharon / Sharon and Gabby. Google us if you’re too young to have loved us two forever.
