James Reid and Nadine Lustre rang in the new year with a kiss.
The year 2017 brought highs and lows to the love team and real-life couple. Both weren’t quite visible on the silver screen as they worked on other projects.
Lustre stars in the horror film “The Nurse” with a release date to be announced, while Reid geared up as the title character of the movie “Pedro Penduko.” Lustre is also set to be in the movie.

Reid released the hit album “Palm Dreams” under his own label Careless Music Manila. He was awarded Best Southeast Asian act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Lustre was also involved in his music career, starring in his videos and even directing one.
The 24-year-old actress produced a quotable quote when she responded to rumors that the couple was living together. While she didn’t respond directly to the question, she said, “C’mon guys, it’s 2017.”

Intrigue continued to follow the couple with rumors of infidelity on the part of Reid that both said were false.
Her message to end the year was on her Instagram story:
“Leaving all the nega, fake and malarkey in 2017. If you’re one of them… bye Felicia.”
JaDine is set for a love team comeback in the Antoinette Jadaone movie “Never Not Love You” and a concert in February. /ra
