“Eat Bulaga” host Joey de Leon once again put into humor what he thinks is the reason why celebrities are the favorite target of bashers.
On an Instagram post last Saturday, de Leon made his thoughts known through what he wrote on a groufie of the Dabarkads: a conversation between two bashers.
The first basher asked, “Bakit ba puro artista’t celebrity binabash natin?” (Why do we always bash artists and celebrities?); to which a second basher replied, “Eh ano naman mapapala mo sa atin” (What would you get from bashing ourselves?)
Followers of the veteran comedian laughed and commended him for humorously speaking his mind about negative people:

While De Leon does enjoy the support of loyal fans, he has not been spared from being the target of bashers who call him out for his supposed insensitivity and tactlessness on delicate issues, such as on his remarks about depression being “gawa-gawa lang” (only made up), which he has apologized for.
