Louis Tomlinson readying single for Friday release

Former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has revealed that his latest single, “Miss You”, will drop on Dec. 1.

Tomlinson shared the news in a tweet, likewise treating his fans in the United Kingdom to the news that he’ll perform the new single live of “The X Factor” on Saturday.

“Can’t wait for this one !” he tweeted.

Details about Tomlinson’s upcoming debut solo album have yet to be revealed, but “Miss You” is likely destined for the LP, along with Tomlinson’s recently released track “Just Like You”. Tomlinson shared the latter track in October alongside the tweet: “This is one of my favourites from the album. Conceptually I think it sums me up!”

The singer may be next in line to go solo among his former One Direction comrades. Zayn Malik released his debut album “Mind of Mine” in 2016, and Harry Styles followed suit earlier this year with his self-titled debut; Niall Horan released an album in October, while Liam Payne has been steadily releasing tracks from his own debut effort, whose release date is yet to be announced.
