Gift of time for Myrtle

What would you give your loved ones this holiday season, and what would you like to receive? What’s your most memorable Christmas?

As far as young star Myrtle Sarrosa is concerned, the gift of time is the most precious present she can share with loved ones. “For this holiday season, I’d like to take my family on a vacation. Time is truly the most treasured gift you can give anyone, and I’d like to give my parents, my brother and my grandmother, memories they can cherish.”

She yearns for something intangible, too. “It might sound like a cliché, but I’d like to receive love and happiness. I’m just at that stage in my life where material things don’t matter to me. I only want to be surrounded by the people I love for the holidays.”

A blossoming new romance wouldn’t hurt, either. “Hopefully, Santa would grant my wish and allow me to meet the love of my life. Just kidding!”

She is aiming high next year, “I’m praying for God to bless my career. I’ve been planting seeds by improving myself. I hope 2018 would be the year of harvest. I also wish to get the chance to travel more with my family next year.”

Myrtle has fond memories of Christmases past. “The most unforgettable was when I was still in grade school. We were living in Iloilo back then, while my mom was working in Manila. Christmas was special because that was the time when we could see my mom. I guess that’s why Christmas is more valuable to us now because we’re all together in Manila.” —BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
