Film review site ranks ‘Wonder Woman’ as best superhero flick of all time
American film review website “Rotten Tomatoes” has always dished out candid analyses and commentaries on the latest cinematic wonders and blunders.
Its latest poll results may have sparked perhaps the greatest online debate yet, as it ranked Patty Jenkins’ 2017 blockbuster “Wonder Woman” as the overall top-rated superhero movie of all time.
According to Screen Rant, the film raked in an astonishing 108.569 percent on the site’s Tomatometer critic aggregate score, barely edging out favorites like “Logan” (107.954 percent) and “The Dark Knight” (106.313%).
Apart from topping the box-office hit charts during its release last February, “Wonder Woman” opened new horizons for the superhero genre, becoming the first flick of its kind to sport a female lead in 10 years, and the first one helmed by a female director.
Many praised director Jenkins’ vision and execution of the two-hour masterpiece, while Gal Gadot earned adoration for her portrayal of the titular character.
